2020 World Buffet

Came here for our tea when having a day out in Peterborough, seemed to have good reviews online so went from them and we are glad we did. Food was cooked fresh while we were there as you can see them making most of it, I do like that way of it being cooked. This is for both mains and the desserts, the waffles are made fresh when you’re ready to have them by a chef. The staff are all super helpful and always collect the plates when we were finished, there was no wait for a table because there’s so much seating area in here. Was clean all throughout, and I really liked the waterfall at the front of the restaurant. There’s so much food to choose from, and there’s dietary information above each dish showing what is in them. This was super helpful for me as I’m dairy free so I didn’t need to check this by any of the staff as I could read it. Parking just to the side on a public car park which is cheap enough to park on there while visiting this restaurant.

Visited 2020 World Buffet in Peterborough recently and had an absolutely fantastic experience! The freshly cooked grill section was a real highlight—lamb chops, beef steaks, and chicken cooked right in front of us, all perfectly done. There’s a great mix of cuisines: Italian (pizza wasn't great tasted frozen but still nice, though no pasta options), Chinese, Indian, and even curried goat, which my dad loved. The staff were attentive and quick to refill dishes when they ran out, especially the curried goat tray with all that delicious sauce! The desserts were impressive too, with ice cream and waffles, although the staff weren’t always immediately around for them, but that didn’t spoil the experience. The quality of the food was consistently fresh and tasty—definitely a 10/10. Service was top-notch. The staff were friendly, appreciative, and helpful, clearing plates quickly and making the whole visit smooth and enjoyable. The restaurant itself is clean, spacious, and modern, with plenty of seating and nice background music. Lighting is a bit on the darker side but adds to the relaxed vibe. Drinks were reasonably priced, and overall it was excellent value at just £22.99 per person on a Saturday evening. Left feeling very happy, full, and impressed. Definitely one of my favourite buffet experiences in Peterborough—highly recommend!

Myself and my boyfriend drove an hour for a spontaneous date night. On arrival, we were shown to our table - the whole establishment is wonderfully clean and tidy. We started with the noodles - which were cooked to order. It was really lovely experiencing an all you can eat where certain dishes were made from scratch. I had chicken, he had the beef, and it did not fail to impress. We then had pizza, curry, sushi…and dessert!! The staff were amazing, nothing was too much bother for them (including making waffles for us even though they were about to close) 10/10, would recommend to everyone and anyone. Will definitely be returning.
